Humble Beginnings & Fruuze @ Straits Quay, Penang.

Not long time ago I found myself wanting to eat mille crepe very MUCH as I only tried once before. One good thing about Instagram is nowadays people will just post their food on Instagram, and that's how i found out about this Wonderful shop named Humble Beginnings! Click HERE to their Facebook page or HERE to their website!
It is located in Straits Quay beside Fruuze.
Interior.
Their contact information. Detailed enough.
Now let's talk about their mille crepe!
I ordered their signature French Vanilla, it is very nice, Thumbs up! You can actually feel the layerness and it mixes well with the taste of vanilla, perfect combination!
The white one is Cheesy Cheese, a bit you don't say about the flavor lol. The black one is Swiss Chocolate.
The cheese actually tasted quite well but you can't feel the layerness like French Vanilla as cheese is sticky. I feel the same for the Swiss Chocolate too and the chocolate definitely cover up the specialty of mille crepe.
OREO flavor, who doesn't love Oreo? It is kinda disappointing though, I can't taste any Oreo flavor in it! I should have noticed it through its color! So light.
Will definitely go again just for its French Vanilla, and Royal Milk Tea too! I've tried it long time ago before the shop was opened, thanks to my friend teehee.

Went to Fruuze right after Humble Beginnings! Never too full for dessert haha. Here's a little love story, I still remember I went here with my bf on our first hangout before we got together! Teehee LoveU. *kiss*

Bravo Italiana @ I-Avenue, Penang.

Dinner time! Had my first try at Bravo Italiana which located in I-Avenue, it's just beside Bayan Point if you don't know where is I-Avenue.
Walaa! This is how the restaurant looks like, it's beside the 100 Yen shop.

And yes it has set meal! Lunch and dinner if not mistaken, the RM9.90 set has only 2 choices-fish n chips/ chicken chop.
I have chosen a salmon set which costs RM39 (excluding ++) You can choose some other dinner set too!
The dinner set contains a soup of the day,
A main course (beef, chicken, salmon, fettuccine) Different main course costs differently,
Drink (coffee, tea, ice lemon tea) and
Dessert of the day! (lime pie for me)
The mushroom soup is tasteless and watery and i added a lot of black pepper.

Mmhmmm this is tasty! My salmon, it's coated with some cheese, mushroom, green bell pepper, tomatoes and some other ingredients. Fish lover you're gonna love it!

My mummy's - Chicken Piccata. The spaghetti mixed well with the sauce Mmhmm! The chicken... Taste good actually but I'm not into chicken breast so...

Last but not least, DESSERT! Never too full for dessert AHA my lime pie! It tastes really really GOOD! Thumbs up! The lime sauce by the side really matched well with the pie!
Definitely gonna have a second try, but REMEMBER, you really need to empty your stomach for the food there cause they come with BIG portions.

House of Kolomee @ D'Piazza

I have actually been here for over... 20 times? Based on the shop name you know it sells Kolomee, mee from Sarawak. They actually hired workers from Sarawak. I forgot to take a picture of the shop lot but its signboard looks like the picture below.

Yes it opens everyday except for certain days. You can check out its Facebook page given at the bottom of the post.

Even vegetarian can enjoy too as it has vegetarian noodle, but only one for now.
The price is really cheap they range from RM4 to RM4.50 without ++!
Customer is required to key in their order at a front counter and a receipt will be printed out.
Then all you have to do is wait.
Cheap and good!

My chicken kolomee. Now it provides new type of noodle! Mee made of Charsiew oil!
It tastes good, smells good, the color is actually red but somehow it didn't show in the picture so... you should try it out yourself!

Morganfield's @ Paragon, Penang.

Morganfield's! House of Sticky Bones, should have try them instead of burgers argh blame my mouth it was craving for burger earlier. It's non-halal btw cause it sells alcohol and pork burger :O but only pork burger no beef burger, Y U NO sell beef burger?!!!!

 My mom and my brother.
Ya we ordered 4 burgers, 4 different types of burgers but
4 same buns, same fries, same veges, same PORK burgers arghhhh.

Close up.

More CLOSE up. Blur picture sorry was eager to try.

The taste? Mom said the fries are cold, not crunchy. The meat did not really fulfill my expectation, and then I ended up thirsty like hell when i got home. I'm still a huge fan of Chili's beef burger! Still, it's a nice place for alcohol.

Green Tea Kit Kat

Hoho green tea kit kat! This is my first time trying it and i like it instantly!
I bought 5 actually but thanks to my eat-non-stop mouth.

The green tea taste really good and the inner layer of green tea taste a little bit, just a tiny little bit bitter like real matcha. And it's not too sweet! Those who never try before you really must try it once in your lifetime!
You may think I overreacted but what to do? I can't say no to dessert!

I bought them online and trust me,the quality is still good (except that they melted when i got them but they are still eatable after you care about them by placing them into the fridge)

P/S : For Penangites you can actually meet-pay-get on the spot.
Check out HERE for more info. *This website does not belong to me.

Goku Raku Ramen @ Paragon, Penang.

This is my first time at Goku Raku Ramen. Probably gonna be my last time too. Keep scrolling and you'll know why.

Me. you don't say

This taste delicious! Gyoza

Bro's spicy ramen. He thinks Nippon Yataimura is better. NYx1!

Mom's (Ultimate Tonkotsu if not mistaken) she didn't like the soup and she prefers NY too.
NYx2!

Mine Goku Raku Ramen. It's OILY.
Their ingredients are all almost the same except for the soup i think.
Nippon Yataimura for me! NYx3!

Seriously Nippon Yataimura's ramen portion is bigger and tastier. Both of them their price are almost the same but i can guarantee NY is more worth it.

RoadHouse Grill's food SUCKS

This post should be written long time ago but sorry was busy working.

So last time my mum bought coupons from mydeal.com.my for dining at RoadHouse Grill, it's located around Gurney Drive near Evergreen Hotel. We went there happily, and expect to be served with nice food... But it was soooo disappointing...
The menu

The 'crowd'

Pictures hanging on the wall

The cashier, there's something good about them is they provide various type of chargers for all kinds of phone

The starter, some kind of vege soup, taste salty
The set consists of a soup, 3 main course to choose from and a dessert, NO BEVERAGE.
Mum's - chicken, look at the portion, how cute and...pathetic
Bro's - Burger, consider the biggest but still couldn't fulfil his tummy.
My spaghetti - portion is great but... spaghetti is hard and they stick together, I can cook better ;)
The dessert - brownies with ice cream, nicest food for the day lol. How sad a dessert can taste better than the main course
